The "BIG GIVE" season has officially started at EpicLife! This past Sunday, we officially kicked off our Annual BIG GIVE campaign, gearing up for our special BIG GIVE offering that we will be receiving on Sunday, December 8th during our 10am and 12pm worship services! At EpicLife Church we believe in leading the way with generosity because we truly believe it's more blessed to give than to receive!
The "BIG GIVE" NOVEMBER - “What are WE giving to others?”
Get ready for a November filled with compassion, generosity, and gratitude! In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we want to give thanks to God through "Acts of Kindness" by being a blessing to those around us. This is the perfect time for all of us to come together as a church family and make a difference in our community. Here's how you can be a part of “The BIG GIVE Season” for November 2024...
Through ACTS OF KINDNESS: You can make a significant impact in the lives of others by actively serving them and looking for a way to extend kindness or meet their various needs in November. It can be as simple as volunteering at a local pregnancy center, making homemade cookies for a neighbor, buying a $5 gas card and giving it to someone in need, doing a donut drop to some local heroes and educators, or simply checking in on a neighbor in need. SINGLE MOM'S BABY SHOWER: This year we are partnering with Choices Women's Clinic in Oviedo to be a blessing to single mothers and their children. Thursday, November 14th at 7pm our Viva Women's ministry will be throwing a baby shower for a young mother and her baby as well as donating gifts to the pregnancy center. This is a wonderful opportunity to bless new Moms at Choices Women's Clinic, and here’s how you can get involved: Volunteer your time and bring a gift (baby clothes, toys, or essentials) or give towards a gift. THE DROP & SHOP KIDS DAY-IN:
Do you need a day out without the kids to shop for Christmas? Then register your kids for our EpicLife ”Drop and Shop Kids Day-In," Saturday Dec 7th from 10am to 2pm. This is our way of saying thank you to all of our EpicLife families for your generosity all year, so we’re offering a day IN for your kids, and a day OUT for you! Drop your kids off at our EpicLife church campus and our amazing Kids Ministry team will make sure your kids have a fun time while you enjoy a few hours of shopping! The "BIG GIVE" DECEMBER - "What are WE giving to Jesus?”
For the entire month of December, the question we are asking is...“WHAT ARE WE GIVING TO JESUS?” At EpicLife Church we are passionate about generosity…and especially passionate about generosity towards our church. We believe that generosity is key to healthy discipleship and Kingdom-centered growth. Each year in December, we bring a BIG GIVE offering to Jesus to show our gratitude for all that God has provided throughout the year and to financially support the initiatives, goals, and vision for the future of EpicLife.
WHAT IS OUR BIG GIVE OFFERING?
Our BIG GIVE offering is our end-of-year offering for EpicLife Church given over and above our regular tithes and offerings! In our BIG GIVE campaign, we take time to talk about what God is inspiring us to focus on and how YOU can be a part of it. This is also when we celebrate as a church all that God has done in the past year AND cast vision for the future! We share major initiatives and moves for the next year, and our church rallies around the vision and gives directly to our future advancement, expansion, and ministry.
WHY DO WE RECEIVE OUR BIG GIVE OFFERING?
Your commitment to our church has helped EpicLife minister to our church family and has set the pace for all of our outreaches we hold throughout the year. What a BLESSING our EpicLife family is! Our hearts are filled with gratitude, and we can’t wait to see our impact grow in 2025! Your giving will go to help our church home, our community, and the global vision of EpicLife. The growth of our church is exciting, and families are being impacted! In order for us to keep growing, we need to expand to prepare for more growth in 2025! The BIG GIVE offering will go towards the following initiatives:
THE BIG CHRISTMAS GIVE:
Gifts for our annual Toy Drive and to provide Christmas dinners for families in need.
FUTURE VISION:
Giving towards expanding our current church facility and providing Audio, Video, and Lighting upgrades for our Main auditorium, Epic Kids, and Youth ministry areas.
PLANTING CHURCHES:
Helping launch and support churches and missions across America and around the world through ARC.
HELPING THE HOMELESS:
Helping the homeless in our city through the Orlando Union Rescue Mission.
FEEDING THE HUNGRY:
Providing Helping to provide healthy meals to those in need feed needy families all around the world through UShunger.org.
FIGHTING HUMAN TRAFFICKING:
Making an impact in the fight against anti-human trafficking through Hand of Hope & Samaritan Village.
DISASTER RELIEF:
Providing Disaster Relief, Water Relief, and Refugee Relief to hurting people all around the world through Hand of Hope.
WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR BIG GIVE OFFERING?
On Sunday, December 8th we will be receiving our BIG GIVE offering during our 10AM & 12PM worship services! I encourage you to join Pastor Martha and I, and our team, in making a significant BIG GIVE gift. Maybe it’s the season for end-of-year contributions in your business or possibly bonus time at your work. Our prayer is that you consider blessing God, and His House, right here at EpicLife!
As you reflect on the goodness of God and what we’ve been able to accomplish together this year, we want to encourage you to pray and prepare your hearts to finish strong in 2024 with a significant BIG GIVE offering! The Bible declares in 2 Cor. 9:10, “Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food, will supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness." We know God has NEVER given small; He ALWAYS GIVES BIG. We see that when He sent Jesus into the world to literally save us. In John 3:16, one of the most quoted verses in the Bible, we read, “For God so loved the world, that He GAVE…”. His Gift is the reason for the season of Christmas. And the gift-giving we participate in is how we follow His example. So, let your faith and appreciation lead you as you set aside a significant offering for His House for your BIG GIVE this Christmas.
Here’s what we're asking you to do...please be in prayer and ask the Holy Spirit what you are to do. Ask Him what you should believe for as a seed that He would provide for you to sow. Please pray about what part you can play in investing in the BIG GIVE offering coming up in just a couple of weeks. And then come prepared and ready to give on December 8th!
